How heart points are being calculated in Google fit?

We are all familiar with different fitness and activity trackers. When it comes to physical activity, experts says more movement is great but more movement with great intensity is best. Not all of our familiar fitness and activity trackers are not able to emphasize the difference. This problem is solved by the redesign of google fit which has launched a new measure called heart points.

Heart points are calculated for each minute of activity that gets our heart pumping, like brisk walk. It takes only 30 minutes of brisk walking five days to reach the recommended amount of physical activity proven to reduce the risk of heart disease, improve sleep and increase overall mental well being.

The app measures the heart points and move minutes  using phone or watch sensor, like accelerometer and GPS. The android API is composed of six sub APIs that allow one to read, write and delete fitness data among other operations. These six sub-APIs are: Sensory API,Recording API,History API,Session API,Bluetooth Low Energy(BLE) API and Config API. Each one of them have specific function. The most relevant API in this app is History API and Sensory API. The former allows to extract information to analyse data for determining whether the approach is possible and the later allows the application to read ,write and delete history data. With history API ,the application can have access to any fitness data in past date and then these data can be managed and analysed in different ways. The sensoryAPI makes it possible to collect real time  information for warning users when necessary.
